An Italian Virginal, the so-called “Queen Elizabeth´s Virginal”. Available in the polygonal or rectangular version.

A small instrument with a very full and portable sound, absolutely perfect for Italian and English Renaissance and Baroque repertoire, or for instrumental accompaniment.

Disposition: one keyboard, 8′

Pitch: a = 415 Hz, transposable +/- one semitone (440/392 Hz)

Materials: case and soundboard in lime, bottom, internal construction and soundboard in spruce, bridges and register in beech, jacks in service, keyboard in spruce covered with boxwood, sharps in ebony.

Decoration: painted case with gilded bands and mouldings. Parchment rose on the soundboard
